Sick Day

Will this weather never end! Now I am home sick with throat and head stuff. I know it's partly because of the days of rain and darkness we've had. But, also because I'm not very smart about what I eat or getting enough sleep. Well, I have the whole day to catch up and smarten up.

Anyway, I haven't spoken with Liss in about a week. I think they're in Florida now visiting John and Maegan.

It's a shame the U.S. is so big. Even though the whole family is in the same country my parents are a couple hours away and all my siblings 24hrs away.

Melissa is teaching me French. I am also listening to daily podcasts to work on memorizing words and pronunciation. I have to admit it's not my first choice for a second language (that would be Arabic) but I decided it's best to make use of what is available instead of moping about what is not. And, I've found, that the more learn the better I like it! Makes sense, I guess.

Well, I think it's about time for a cup of tea and another nap. Such a difficult time.
