Rachael Ray!

This past Thursday I had the opportunity to go to a taping of the Rachael Ray show with my dear friend April!
We went to the Bronx Wednesday night and stayed over at my parents. Thursday morning we took the subway down to Times Square and then walked over to East 44th street where the Screengems studio is. We arrived around 12pm and waited anxiously in line until about 1:45pm. We where then ushered inside through security and to a room where we waited for another half hours or so.
Finally, at about 3:30 we started taping! It was an interesting and eye opening experience for me. Just how real and unglamorous it all is in person. Rachael and her staff going about their jobs. She was very nice though and her hair and smile are even better in real life! After the taping April and I walked back to Times Square got the train back to the Bronx and had dinner at the Riverdale Diner on 238th.
Then it was back to my folks house to pick up the car and head back to reality. Work and responsibilities.
By the way Mom and Dad, thanks for letting us crash at the house. Love you both!
Thanks to Nate (April's husband) who got the whole thing in motion by requesting the tickets.
Thank you April, for the invitation and another wonderful memory of time spent with you!
